Use by EUscreen
EUscreen offers a Website which enables users to browse through decades of digitised television and film content made available by 18 European audiovisual archives. The Website offers free access to videos, stills, texts and rich metadata, covering major events in Europe (and beyond) as well as providing insights into how people in Europe have lived for over the last sixty years. You can look for clips and programmes by entering text, clicking on relevant search fields or by using the filters to refine what you are looking for. It is also possible to post messages yourself. In order to ensure that you can optimally use the Website, EUscreen must process your personal data.
EUscreen also wishes to keep you informed of the development of its Website. In case of an upgrade, update or any other change to the Website, EUscreen will let you know. It is not possible to opt out for these messages.
Furthermore, EUscreen can send you a news letter that will keep you informed of the promotions EUscreen organises. You will receive the newsletter on a regular basis. If you no longer wish to receive the newsletter, you can unsubscribe by sending an email to email@example.com. A possibility to unsubscribe is also included in every individual newsletter. In case you unsubscribe, EUscreen advises you to regularly check the Website for new promotions.
Use by third parties
Without your explicit consent, EUscreen will not provide third parties with your personal data for direct marketing purposes (inter alia for sending advertisements).
EUscreen can provide third parties with your personal data in so far as necessary for offering the Website and/or in the event it concerns data that can not be traced back to you personally (such as the Automatically Generated Information excluding the IP-address) and are therefore not to be considered personal data.
