On 9 May 2026 we had the pleasure of celebrating Europe Day in Hilversum, the Netherlands with like-minded advocators for a more connected and involved European Union. It was a special moment as the European Union was established on this exact day in 1950.
Our collective media history reflects a broader European narritive. In our daily work at EUscreen we bring these stories to life and showcase how media and heritage shape our shared European culture. EUscreen initiates international research and projects and our collection not only shines on our own platform, but also on that of Europeana.
