Euscreen offers free access to thousands of archival audiovisual items. Our collection provides insight into the social, cultural, political, and economic events that have shaped the 20th and 21st centuries.


The EUscreen Network consists of over 40 members from almost 30 different European countries representing national broadcasters, media archives, and higher education institutions. We offer our members technical and archival support in managing and promoting their collections, an international reach for distribution and engagement, priority access to scholarly publications and externally funded projects, and much more. EUscreen and her partners are involved in many international education and research activities drawing on the expertise of a wide network of audiovisual archives, academia, and technical institutions.

European Data Space

The common European Data Space for cultural heritage is the new flagship initiative of the European Commission to accelerate the digital transformation of Europe’s cultural sector.


Detecting and cur(at)ing harmful language in cultural heritage collections (DE-BIAS) promotes a more inclusive and respectful approach to describing cultural heritage by detecting problematic terms in cultural heritage metadata through AI.


MediaNumeric is an Erasmus+ training programme for journalism & communication students and young professionals that aims to educate and give them the tools to help create a European media ecosystem that is user-driven, fair and balanced, economically sustainable, and technologically advanced.
