FIAT/IFTA Media Management Commission and BBC invite you to the 12th edition of FIAT/IFTA’s “Changing Sceneries, Changing Roles” Seminars, focusing on media management, metadata, emerging and evolving technologies and changing skillsets. This edition’s theme is:

AI and Human Collaboration: Partners in Archiving?

Gain insights from global experts in the media management field on emerging challenges in the digital archiving and broadcasting sectors.

Every year, the Europeana Initiative runs the Digital Storytelling Festival. The international event encourages cultural heritage professionals, educators, creatives, and students from Europe and beyond to boost their storytelling skills and tell stories exploring culture.

A two-day event with talks, showcases and hands-on workshops to create connections between art, culture and history and the contemporary world.

On Wednesday 21 May, EUscreen invites you to engage in a responsible, user centered approach to Generative AI. We will address the implications for archives, we will take a step into the newsrooms that work with these tools on a daily basis, and we will take a deep dive into the world of Generative AI. Today, we can generate anything and everything. When does this create added value and when does it create a confusion of facts?

With expert talks from Jacobo Castellanos (WITNESS) and Xavier Eutrope (Institut national de l’audiovisuel).

This year’s Summit focuses on exploring why, what, and how people watch, with a particular emphasis on the evolving role and relevance of public service media (PSM) in a changing media landscape. We’ll also discuss the future of PSM and examine how we can ensure that its content remains relevant, engaging and valued by audiences.

We invite you to save the date, and, to be the first to hear about the conference, including the call for proposals and access to early-bird tickets, to register your interest.
